Some companies term it an electric cigarette, e-cigarette, nicotine inhaler or personal vaporizers and may sell it as a stop smoking aid or smoking cessation product. This information can be misleading. World Health Organization issued a statement to say that it does not consider the electronic cigarette to be a legitimate smoking cessation aid. The MHRA and trading standards do not consider the electronic cigarette to be a quit smoking product also.
