Some people simply don’t want to give up nicotine or smoking. However, an alternative to traditional cigarettes may be a better choice. There are many reasons for quitting tobacco and choosing to smoke electronic cigarettes instead.

The electronic cigarette allows smokers to avoid some of the worst aspects of traditional cigarettes while still allowing them to enjoy the habit. Below are just some of the reasons why more and more smokers are switching to this highly realistic substitute for tobacco smoking.

The tar from smoking doesn’t come from the nicotine, but actually comes from the process of burning tobacco to deliver nicotine. There is no longer a need to worry about offending non-smokers or about the harm caused by passive smoking. Electronic cigarettes do not emit passive smoke. The smoker of an electronic cigarette inhales and exhales a tobacco or menthol flavored water based vapor which contains nicotine. This means that the electronic cigarette can be used anywhere without concern.

Electronic Cigarette Smoking is Cheaper

There is a small initial outlay for a starter kit in order to convert to electronic smoking. The average smoker will save a few thousand pounds each year. Users will save even more as the price of traditional cigarettes increases. Electronic  smoking is around 80 percent cheaper than tobacco.

Smoking Ban Exempt

Unlike traditional cigarettes, the electronic cigarette can be enjoyed practically anywhere. The electronic cigarette is exempt from the smoking ban as the device is tobacco free and is not lit. This means you can smoke it in buildings and places where regular smoking is banned including public houses, restaurants, offices, shops and other places of work.

However, some discretion on the users part is required…. it is 100% legal to smoke the electronic cigarette anywhere in the UK. But expect some very sharp and dirty looks if you try smoking the device in a church or other place which might cause offense!
