From December 9th and until January 3rd, UK mainland orders under £19.00 will be charged £3.98 and upgraded to an Express delivery service to ensure faster shipping. This is due to the high volume of mail that goes missing or arrives late using the Royal Mail during the Christmas season. The Express service excludes Northern Ireland and the UK islands.

New strengths of Tobacco and Menthol Cartomizers

E-Cigarette Battery Re-Charging and Storage

VIP Electronic Cigarette batteries are lithium-ion and rechargeable. Batteries are already charged when supplied and the e-cigarette is ready to use straight from the packet. A battery charge will provide up to 150 puffs between charges, with a chare lasting from two to forty-eight hours depending on how heavy you smoke.
Re-charging is carried out by the USB charger. The USB charger plugs into your PC or laptop, but can also be used with a UK 3 Pin adaptor which enables charging by a standard wall mains point, or with the car charger adaptor to allow recharging using a cigarette lighter plug point a vehicle. The complete recharge cycle is two hours. However, one of the many benefits of the lithium-ion battery is that you do not need to fully recharge the battery before resuming use. You can remove the battery from the charger after a part re-charge and continue using the e-cigarette, but a full charge will offer peak performance. Lithium-ion batteries benefit from constant top ups, and providing once depleted they are re-charged promptly should last for 150 or more recharge cycles.
E-cigarette batteries should be stored in a cool place, away from direct heat, sunlight and moisture such as bathrooms or kitchens.

Storing E-Cigarette Cartomizers

For most e-cigarette smokers, storing cartomizers is not an issue as we tend to consume them before they have a chance to degrade. The shelf life of cartomizers is one year from point of manufacturing providing they are stored in adequate conditions. Freshly manufactured cartomizers arrive at the VIP Electronic Cigarette warehouse every 3-4 weeks which ensures only brand new cartomizers with a maximum shelf life are dispatched.
Cartomizers are specialized filters and not to be confused with the standard type of e-cigarette cartridges. Regular cartridges are inefficient and prone to problems. Cartomizers contain more liquid and are capable of delivering 300 puffs of vapour. Every VIP cartomizer is filled with 0.7ml of high quality pharmaceutical and food grade liquid. The liquid is absorbed by a wadding material inside the cartomizer, similar to the principal of a compact wetwipe. Those familiar with wetwipes will know that if a wipe is left out at room temperature or if the packet is not sealed correctly the moisture content evaporates and the wipe dries out. The wadding in the cartomizer is around 2cm squared, far smaller than that of a wetwipe. The limited size means the moisture content will begin to dry out quickly once the cartomizer packet is opened and even in the sealed packet if the cartomizer is exposed to sources of heat, direct sunlight or stored at high room temperatures.
The average room temperature is between 18 and 22 degrees Celsius and cartomizers stored above this will degrade faster than expected. Ideally, cartomizers should be stored in a cool dark place, such as a cupboard and away from sources of heat and humidity, preferably below 16 degrees Celsius.
The electronic cigarette is a fantastic alternative to smoking and our cartomizers work out considerably cheaper than buying regular cigarettes. Please remember, once you have purchased a Starter Kit, you only need to re-order cartomizers (filters) and not another kit.
